LED Skin Preparation Melbourne

The preparation step that helps pigment settle beautifully.

The protocol

Why preparationcomes first

Camouflage tattooing is only as good as the skin it goes into. Before scar, stretch mark or camouflage work begins, Jade uses an LED light therapy protocol to prepare the treatment area, which is crucial for an optimal result in paramedical tattooing.

For clients whose scars are darker than the surrounding skin, LED sessions are run beforehand to gradually lighten the area, so that when pigment is matched it blends instead of contrasting.

Whether LED preparation is part of your plan is decided at consultation, alongside whether inkless camouflage should come before pigment work.

The difference

What it changes

Darker scars lighten first

Where a scar sits darker than the surrounding skin, LED sessions are used beforehand to gradually lighten the area so pigment can be matched accurately.

Better skin, better result

Camouflage work sits in prepared skin far better than in tired skin. Preparation supports how the area heals and how the pigment settles.

Fewer surprises

Preparing the area gives Jade a clearer read on tone and texture before any needle work begins, which means a more predictable outcome.
