Areola Tattooing
A realistic, gentle finishing step after breast surgery.
Areola Restoration
Areola tattooing recreates the appearance of a natural areola and nipple after mastectomy, reconstruction, breast reduction or lift. Using layered shading and carefully matched pigment, Jade tattoos light and shadow so a flat surface reads as dimensional.
The treatment can restore colour and definition to a reconstructed areola, even out asymmetry, or soften surgical scarring around the site. Skin tone, existing scar tissue and the healing of your surgery all guide the approach.
Sessions are private, calm and led entirely at your pace. Most clients need one session with a review appointment once healed.

What to expect
Consultation
A private, unhurried conversation about your surgery, your healing and the result you are hoping for.
Colour & shape
Pigment is matched to your natural tone and the shape and size mapped for symmetry and balance.
Session
Jade tattoos light and shadow in fine layers to create realistic dimension on flat skin.
Review
A follow up appointment once healed to refine colour depth and perfect the finish.
Timing andsuitability
Skin needs to be fully healed and settled after surgery before tattooing, usually a minimum of twelve months. Jade will confirm suitability at consultation and liaise with your surgeon where needed.
