Career guide

Become a paramedical tattoo artist

Paramedical tattooing helps clients feel at home in their skin again, and it is one of the most in-demand skills in permanent makeup. Here is the path in, from your first enquiry to your first client.

The path

Five steps to yourfirst client

  1. 01

    Start from any background

No prior experience is needed. PMU artists, beauty therapists and complete career changers all train with Jade, and beginners are welcome on every course.

  2. 02

    Choose your course

Skin Camouflage Training teaches pigment and inkless camouflage together. Areola Tattoo Training focuses on restoration for post-mastectomy clients. The Ultimate Training Day combines both.

  3. 03

    Train on live models

You work on real skin, not latex, so you learn to feel and assess scars and stretch marks the way you will with paying clients.

  4. 04

    Get your kit and certificate

The full kit option includes pigments, a skin tone reader, tattoo machine, disposables and NUE Regen and NUE Bright vials, plus your Certificate of Completion.

  5. 05

    Keep growing after the course

Ongoing support includes social media and content assistance, and you join the Nue Conceal online community of artists worldwide.
